How Xtrusio’s Publisher and Broker Network Works

Availability and responsibility

Publisher and broker access is part of managed delivery. Each placement is subject to availability, editorial acceptance and agreed terms. Placements on the standard website list provided for the client are included in the subscription as specified in the client's agreement. Larger or exceptional publishing projects require separate scope and cost confirmation. Inclusion does not mean unlimited placements or guaranteed publisher acceptance.

Xtrusio can arrange publication through the access available to its delivery team, including publisher and broker relationships within scope. The useful question is how a particular placement is arranged and verified, not whether a domain appears in a large list.

Understand the parties

A direct publisher relationship and access through an intermediary are different arrangements. The broker may coordinate submission, but the publisher controls its site and editorial decisions under the applicable terms.

Do not call every listed website a direct partner unless that relationship is established.

Evaluate a placement

1. Identify the intended publisher and audience.
2. Confirm whether access is direct or through a broker.
3. Agree the article requirements, disclosures and link treatment. Confirm that the placement falls within the subscription's standard website list, or obtain separate scope and cost approval for an exceptional project.
4. Confirm acceptance, revision and removal terms.
5. Submit the approved material through the agreed process.
6. Verify the actual live page and record the result.

Example

A listing may offer access to a business publication, but the proposed article can still be rejected for topic fit or editorial reasons. A quotation is not publication proof.

When a placement changes

If the title, URL, link or disclosure differs from the approval, record the discrepancy and request correction through the agreed channel. Do not mark the intended placement complete merely because a page exists somewhere else.

Confirm the proposed publisher, placement terms and subscription coverage before approving the work. Standard listed placements are included within the agreed scope; do not treat every placement as an additional charge.

Publication removal requests

Clients can remove articles from their own blogs. For external publications under Xtrusio's control, the team can arrange removal on client request. For other publishers, the team manages the request but cannot guarantee removal. A removal request does not establish an automatic replacement entitlement.
